For the 2020-2021 school year, at least in the beginning, this activity will not be happening

 

Mr. Corabi usually opens the gym at 7:30am for 15 minutes of totally open gym.   Think of it as “before school wake-up warm-up”

The purpose is to give students an opportunity to be active for a short while prior to starting class.

If he is running late, has a meeting, is absent OR has to set up the Health classroom for a 1st-period class, the gym does not open that day.

Typically, the students who come into the gym do the following activities:

Basketball shoot around

Volleyball Keep it Up

Walking

Chin-ups/pull-ups

Small group stretching

Football pass

Badminton

Soccer

NOTE: Baseball and Softball skills can not occur while others are in the gym doing different activities
